Join the MJCCA’s Active Mature Adults’ (ages 60+) monthly Classics Film Club and connect with fellow movie buffs this fall to watch classic comedies and discuss the techniques and themes that went into making them. The 2019 Fall/Winter Series includes:
- September 22, 1:00 – 3:00 pm - Gold Diggers of 1933 (1933)
- October 27, 1:00 – 3:00 pm - A Night at the Opera (1935)
- December 15, 1:00 – 3:00 pm - His Girl Friday (1940)
“The first session is always free, so tell your friends to join us for a weekend classic and a vibrant discussion,” said Earl Finley, MJCCA’s Active Mature Adults Director. “This season, we’re diving into the world of classic comedies from the early days of cinema. Each of these films left a lasting impression on the generations of comedians that followed.”
