(ATLANTA – September 6, 2011) – On Sunday, November 13, from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm, the Book Festival of the MJCCA presents it annual family event, The PJ Library® Storytelling Festival: Bringing Books to Life. Always a highlight of the Book Festival of the MJCCA, the Festival is bringing storytellers together for an interactive, educational, and unique event! The PJ Library® Storytelling Festival Highlights
The Macaroons (in concert), a lively family-friendly group, will bring their catchy pop-rock tunes like "Hurry Up And Light The Candle" and "Mezuzah," and get families dancing in a rockin’ kickoff concert. Seating is limited; advance reservations recommended. (10:00 am; All Ages)
-- Author Amy Meltzer - The Shabbat Princess
Rosie likes queens, but she really loves princesses! One Shabbat eve, she persuades her parents to invite the Shabbat Princess to their home. Join PJ Library author Amy Meltzer as she shares unique ways to make Shabbat special. (Ages 3+)
-- Author Ann Koffsky, Noah’s Swim-a-Thon
Noah won’t go in the pool, until he learns about the camp swim-a-thon and how he can help other kids enjoy the camp he loves so much. Meet PJ Library author and illustrator, Ann Koffsky and find out how she creates books from start to finish. (Ages 3+)

Jenny was born to jump. Her life is changed forever when she channels her joy for jumping on her pogo stick—all in the name of tikkun olam or repairing the world. Author Ellen Bari presents her lively book and shows off her pogo stick skills. (Ages 3+)
-- Author Laurel Snyder, Nosh, Schlep, Schluff: Babyiddish
This is a fantastic Grandparent & Me Program! Bring your Bubbe and Zayde and come kibbitz with PJ Library author Laurel Snyder. Oy!—you will kvell when you hear your little ones speaking Yiddish. (Ages 5 & Under)
-- Have a Nosh! Enjoy Yiddish delicacies in the Yiddish Tasting Room. (All Ages)
-- Daddy ‘N Me Krav Maga - Get a little exercise, Israeli-style! This program is designed especially for Dads, Grandpas, and children of all ages.
-- Noah’s Ark Program - Lions and tigers and bears—oh, yeah! Join Jessica Dickson for a roaring good time with your children on Noah’s Ark. Presented by Shalom Baby. (Ages 3 & Under)
-- The Peace Room Kid Zone - Exclusively for families with babies and toddlers who need a place to relax. Peace Room families may discover a wonderful place where they can enjoy quiet play time. (Ages 2 & Under)
