Hartman: Foundations for a Thoughtful Judaism: Practice
view options In Foundations, we look at the way Jews have taken the sacred texts of our tradition and made them their own, further shaping the tradition and passing it along from generation to generation. We draw upon Biblical texts and look at how the rabbis and later commentators understood themselves to be empowered to interpret and provide meaning with these texts. We encourage the participants to feel that they too are taking part in these conversations through their study.Instructor: Talya Gorsetman
