Living with Intention: A Mussar Journey
Taste the richness of what a mindful approach to life’s regularities and unpredictables can add to your spiritual life and emotional balance.
Working with the text Everyday Holiness by Alan Morinis (pre-purchase required), we will wade a bit into this spiritual discipline and personally test the teachings of Mussar, which traces its specific roots back to the late 19th century Lithuania.
Our approach, a la Morinis, is applicable to the mature of any age; and, it requires no commitment to any particular theology. Our six 1-hr. labs will be facilitated by Rabbi Dr. Scott Saulson, a certified mediator in family dynamics, who has served as an interim rabbi in a number of states these last 14
years before retiring from the congregational rabbinate and returning to his home here in Atlanta, where he served for 14 years as the Jewish community chaplain.
