Reading a Rainbow of Values
Counting the Omer is a Jewish tradition spanning from Passover to Shavuot (April 23-June 10), emphasizing personal growth through exploring values such as Kindness and Humility. Reading a Rainbow of Values is an MJCCA family program that enhances this tradition by suggesting a different children’s book to read together every day during this time between the holidays. Each book reflects one or more values, to foster growth and meaningful conversations.
See below for the Reading a Rainbow of Values booklet and print it to check off the books as you go, or visit the MJCCA to pick one up! Questions? Please email Kelly Cohen.
