The MJCCA’s Center for Experiential Jewish Education, led by experienced Jewish educator Kelly Cohen, is dedicated to making Jewish values and traditions accessible and engaging to all and create a more meaningful experience for our participants.
Through interactive experiences and innovative approaches, we infuse Jewish themes and teachings into many MJCCA programs, including Club J, MJCCA Day Camps, Camp Barney Medintz, youth sports, and beyond.
We invite you to celebrate holidays like Rosh Hashanah and Hanukkah like never before and learn about holidays like Mimouna with fun and enriching activities and unique family events and to participate in special initiatives like Reading a Rainbow of Values during the Counting the Omer (a Jewish tradition spanning from Passover to Shavuot, emphasizing personal growth through exploring values such as Kindness and Humility) and Tikvah Threads, a meaningful yarn project to foster hope during challenging times and in honor of Israel’s Independence Day.

The MJCCA’s Inclusion Program strives to provide the necessary accommodations and flexibility for youth who require additional support so they may access the transformative opportunities available at the MJCCA. Our Inclusion Team collaborates with parents, educators, and staff to determine if successful program placement is possible. These youth and their families are then supported by our Inclusion Team through program accommodations and may also receive individualized assistance. Click here for more information.
