Details: Focus on your health this winter with the Winter Wellness Challenge from Jan 25-31! Join a team, take part in a daily wellness challenge, and earn points for a chance to win great prizes. Community members are welcome to participate in the Winter Wellness Challenge.

Program: Soulful Saturday
When: Saturday, January 25, 10:00 am-12:00 pm
Where: MJCCA-Zaban Park (5342 Tilly Mill Road, Dunwoody)
Who: Ages 16+, Kids in K-5th grade
Cost: Free and open to the Community
Details: Nourish your mind, body and spirit with Rabbi Glusman and the MJCCA Fitness team. Begin with a spiritual meditation followed by a workout that builds flexibility and strength and leaves you feeling centered and calm. Kids in K-5th grade can enjoy fitness and wellness games and activities with the MJCCA Day Camps team, while their parents or grandparents create a spiritual start to the day. Registration for kids is required.

Program: Holy Happy Hour

Details: Friends + Drinks + Shabbat = GOOD TIMES! Grab a friend and make a night of it at Dunwoody Tavern. Enjoy beverages, food, and mingling with a hint of Shabbat inspiration from Rabbi Glusman. Free and open to all; food and drinks available for purchase.

Program: Yoga Workshops with Jesse Mills
When: Sunday, February 2 and Sunday, February 16, 9:00 – 11:00 am

Who: Ages 16+
Cost: $30 per workshop, or $50 for both; member pricing available
Details: Yoga beginners and experts alike are welcome to Get to Know Your Chakras on February 2, or learn about Arm Balances & Inversions on February 16. These 2-hour workshops will provide instruction and practice in a comfortable setting, and are suitable for all levels.

Details: Bring your children to enjoy a Shabbat-related craft in the MJCCA’s Sophie Hirsh Srochi Discovery Center followed by songs and blessings with Rabbi Glusman and a visit from the Weinstein School Shabbat Dinosaur. Challah and grape juice will be served.

Program: Community Service with the Collaborative Ministries Food Pantry
When: Sunday, February 8, 10:30 am-1:00 pm
Where: Intown Collaborative Ministries (1026 Ponce de Leon Ave NE Atlanta, GA)
Cost: Free and open to the Community
Who: Families & Children 7+
Details: Families are invited to help the Intown Collaborative Ministries Food Pantry distribute food to people experiencing food insecurity and homelessness. Orientation and training will be provided, then volunteers will serve food and help clean up. Children must be at least 7 years old and able to focus on tasks for two hours. Only 15 spots are available so register now!

Program: Intown Tu B'Shvat Tree Planting

Where: Meet at the corner of Woodlawn Avenue and Lenox Road, Atlanta (South of LaVista Road)

Details: Celebrate the Jewish earth day by adding to Atlanta's tree canopy for Tu B'Shvat! Fun for the whole family will included young children's programming, refreshments, and doing some good in the dirt. Long pants, work clothes, and closed-toed shoes are recommended.
