New Date Due to Rain: Dunwoody Neighbor-MJCCA Sponsored Community Pool Party

There's no better way to celebrate summer than to have a pool party with your friends and family! The entire Dunwoody community is invited to kick off summer in a cool way at the Summer Kickoff Community Pool Party on Sunday, June 4, from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm at the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta's (MJCCA) Sherwin Glass Aquatic Center/Barbara and Ed Mendel Splash Park, located at Zaban Park (5342 Tilly Mill Road, Dunwoody).

Peach Perfect: The Fastest Growing Sport for Women in Israel Is Catching on in Atlanta

After months of skill-building and twice weekly practices at the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta (MJCCA), Atlanta’s new catchball team, aptly named Peach Perfect, recently entered its first competition at the East Coast Catchball Tournament in Boston. The team played against an estimated 100 female competitors from Boston, Atlanta and New Jersey, and not only advanced to the finals, but earned a silver medal. The tournament was organized by the USA Catchball Association, the Israeli Catchball Association, and Bostonet (Boston’s Catchball League).

Gabrielle Davis of MJCCA's Perimeter Gymnastics Awarded Scholarship to Converse College

Gabrielle Davis, a senior at Greater Atlanta Christian and MJCCA Perimeter Gymnastics gymnast, accepted Converse College’s Acrobatics and Tumbling scholarship at a formal signing ceremony on April 15.
